Just finished connecting it up installation was easy and somewhat fast, first printing was very nice to print photos, they look rather sharp and great color

This is my first experience with Epson products, even though they have been highly recommended by friends in the past. So far, I love it.
The photo quality is first rate, the installation, while lengthy, went off without a hitch & the product worked fine first try. There was a discount coupon in the box for Epson's top quality photo paper and I am anxiously awaiting delivery. At this point, I love it.

i am very happy wit my new EPSON artisan 837 ,,, looking for a new printer i was introduce to artisan 837 and i just had to have it . scanning and photo printing just sold me out..

Overall I really like this All-in-One Printer. However, the reason I bought it was to print directly on to a CD/DVD. One problem I have encountered is if you want to print from a file such as MicroSoft Word you have to convert the file to a JPEG or one other conversion before you can import it. I would think the Seiko- Epson engineers would have programed that step into their format. Other than that I'm pleased...Stay tuned!
PS The ink is quite pricey! Buyer beware!

printing matte finish cards

print quality is too light for matte paper. cannot find anything on product to improve this. have adjusted settings for printer and still not happy with print quality of image on matte papers

Really like my new Artisan 837. It is real nice to be able to print double sided and labels direct on to the new type of CD. Would recommend this printer to every one.
