as a general printer i would tell others it is ok to buy.But using to print photos I just tryed to print a photo from my computor and it took over 5min. to load the photo. as compared to my OLD Epson this is to long of atime for printing photos.
also the quality of the exterior of the printer is not the same as my old printer.

Epson Artisan 837 All-in-One Printer

My Epson Artisan 837 All-in-One Printer was purchased on December 10, 2011. I now have to replace it. It makes all kind of funny noises and half the time half the print is faded. I have cleaned the heads many times and it is still the same. I will not buy another Epson printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Setup Problems

The software CD would not load up or even be detected in my CD drive, figures for a install CD written in Singapore. Had to download all the drivers and support from the website, adding 30mins to the setup time needed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just finished the installation. It went very well. Have printed only the test page so far. I don't think I have ever had an installation go the way the instructions say they should go. Until now!

Prints Great from all My Devices!

We have a home network and it connected into the network simply and was found immediately. Do have to install the software on all the computers, but once done, none of them, all diff OS's, had a problem.
Once you set up the wireless, iPhones and iPads found it immediately and printed surprisingly great photos.
The email to printer is also a handy feature, though you get a complex email address you need to be sure to get in your device ahead of time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My new printer

I haven't used my new printer very much yet, but so far it looks like a real winer. The installation process is well thought out and it made me feel that I will not be dissapointed in it's performance.
