Scan only by direct connect

A lovely printer with one large flaw, namely, that it will not scan to anything over WIFI. Even the menu option offers only one button i.e., "USB". Although this is a WIFI printer when it scans it REQUIRES a cable to directly connect the devise to the printer. What happened Epson? Purchased September 2011.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am disappointed

I got it as a Christmas present and I really wanted one but my computer can't find it so I can't install the software so my iPad 2 and iPhone can't find it either which means that I can't print a single thing unless I plug in my camera's SD card. I wish that this thing was better designed too. If you are going to buy this I don't think that you should.

I cant get the wifi to work on this epson printer. and that is EXACTLY why I bought this stupid thing... it is going back tomorrow I have had it!

Photos are coming out wet! using Epson glossy paper and checking all settings as such. Grainy and wet. Any suggestions?

No Airprint... No Deal

I have been waiting for the new Epson Artisan printers to come out so I can use Airprint with my ios devices.
Granted. this has Epson connect... Epson did NOT put Airprint in here, which shouldn't have been that hard....
Since iPads are the tablets of choice, this should have been included.... It looks like I am forced to return to another brand that has airprint...
Fail.

purchased this for the multi use capabilities.
scans old photos very well and prints photos beautifully, but the normal everyday document printing is poor. the text appears weak and faded looking. maybe there is some ink saving aspect that i am not aware of.....
