This is at least the 4th Epson printer I've purchased, and I am a fan of Epson's products.
It is full of potential and does much very well, but also can be very frustrating.
The CD printing is outstanding, and the copies are good. The scanning function is very hit and miss, working about half the time. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it's a huge disappointment. The software seems pretty unstable, with "Cannot communicate with the scanner" being a frequent (though not constant) message. The feeder works well for one sided copies and scans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Since I received my printer in the mail, I have had nothing but troubles. At first the printer would not print anything. I then replaced the ink and it started printing but not in good quality.

This printer has good quality but after only 4 months, the paper feeder is broken and the printer is useless. Don't buy it unless you like disposable printers!

It's a good product , but if your a graphic designer like myself it just doesn't give a clear enough print job for proofs. Also when trying to print for slik screen transfer paper it just doesn't.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ink leak

We have this printer and we used it lightly. This printer was good when new. After the first set of cartridges, the leaking started and got worse to a degree that this printer is totally useless.
The cyan ink leaks badly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

System is ok, paper jams almost every time and is junky compared to what I am use to which was the epson stylus 1400
prof. print system that printed cds for the same cost as this all in one. you get what you pay for. Wish I would have stuck with something a litter higher quality as far as printing pictures. I am a semi professional photographer and I hate the cheap feeder that is set up in this system. Look it over good before purchasing, I would not have goten it only had I known.
