I had to return the printer bcause the feeder would not work properly. I also did not like that there was only one size envelope I could use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scanner is slower than my HP scanner, but otherwise I love the wireless capability and all the other features.

Excellent product. Ease of operation and set up was effortless. Returned two printers before settling on this product and what a difference Epson makes. No firmware to download to operate airprint.

It took me 2hrs & 45 min to get it set up. I'm no computer expert!! It works and I hope I got the right one. I read reviews about the 837 & 845 one has a crazy paper loader and the other didn't. Now it finally loaded & I could hear it print so maybe I should have gotten the 845. To late now just have to make this one work for now. Good luck to all un-experienced users!

Powerful machine with neat features. The CD/DVD printer works extremely well, the little tray just slides out and accepts the disc, prints in a flash. Paper printing is swift and the color of course is clean and bright. I've yet to print photos but my previous printers were Epson and they were stunning. I had bought a competitor's el cheapo printer but it was not a bargain after all, hence the Epson which is has made all well again. Avoid low end printers, headaches. The only problem with the Artisan so far has been a paper jam, easily cleared.

I had several of the best home printers on the market but I have now replaced them all with this one. Easy to set up and use. Included software works great.

I bought my first Epson All in One Printer, and after a lengthy set up, discovered the software was not compatible with my MBPro Lion, without using Epson's App to print. The printing process was lengthy, and technically not up to speed. I bought an Artisan 837 All in One Printer in Feb, and began using it the middle of June. Epson's policy is to replace a Defective Printer with a Refurbished one, unless notified within one month of the purchase date, of the problem. The Refurbished Printer was slow in being delivered. I just printed my first pictures on it. This Epson Artisan 837 All in One Printer is also Defective and loud when printing photos. Very Disappointing!

Nice home office printer. I like having the 6 separate ink cartridges. Color photos are quite vivid. The scanner portion is OK for home use.
