Went online and did a compare across multiple brands and styles. This one had everything we needed and wanted. It works as promised, and meets or exceeds all expectations. Quick set-up, no hitches, updates automatically... no complaints!

"Convert" impressed

As a "convert" to epson printers, I must say this is a product that lives up to its claims/specs.
I have a friend who's an excellent photographer, who showed me the quality of his photo prints versus what I was getting from my well known name brand printer. Another element that captured my interest is the speed of printing a photo. The Epson is far faster, while providing greater color quality.
As one who also does a considerable amount of photography, my requirements for a printer include one that provides the option (special tray) for printing 4x6, & 5x7 photos. Until recently, only one name brand offered this capability. THANK YOU Epson for giving us another very welcome choice.
Finally, loading this printer into my system was very simple. No hassles,....no hang-ups,....no restarts. As one who operates with a WiFi system, the Artisan 837 fit right in without even a slight hiccup. Great product, GREAT results!!
Thanks Epson! You have a "convert!"

I like the prints that come off of this printer. I have owned HP printers for the past 20 years and was unhappy with their performance as of late.
The only feature that I have found that I am not happy with is the paper load tray. It is difficult to load the paper correctly. The led screen is easy to navigate on. I like the feature that comes on the screen when a copy begins to print. I like the six individual ink cartridges and only hope it stops completely when one cartridge runs out of ink like advertised. I would definitely reccommend to a friend.

Pros:
- touch screen interface is easy and fast
- excellent printing; quality and speed
- photos appeared flawless
- scanning to PDF over the network is great
- copying is simple and fast
- paper tray allows you to load paper and photo paper at the same time and automatically selects the proper one
- haven't tried the fax
- haven't tried OCR scanning

My Epson Artisan 837 is one great printer. I can burn pictures on dvd's and it makes great copies. I also use the printer as a fax. I would highly recomend the Epson atrtisan 937. I do a lot of photography work and the pictures are great

I just got the Epson Artisan 837. It was easy to install and pretty quick too.
I have printed out photos they look like a lab printed them. The colors are bright and bold. Love this printer so far.
It is great quality and a bargain price.
Epson you have a winner.
