Just bought the printer, had an 835 and very happy with it. the new 837 works fine except the print CD is a problem. I would highly recommend the printer to anyone except for the problem I'm having with the print CD function.

The price point and specs for this all-in-one was good enough to buy it. But If I had known it would jam as often as it does, I never would have bought it.There is no reason in the world why you should have to single page load a printer like this.

Epson Artisan 837

This is my second Artisan printer. The first was an Artisan 810 which developed a problem which was diagnosed as print head failure. I purchased the Artisan 837 only to have the same problem which is a horizontal line running at one inch intervals on photos. I went through all the cleaning recommended on the old printer which didn't correct the problem and now am at a loss tring to figure out why it is happening with the new printer. My photos print out on another machine without the horizontal lines but color is not as good.

Just picked this up to work with MAC OS Lion, works great on both Lion and the parallels install of xp. You must download the drivers from Epson as they do not exist on the disc that comes with the printer. Use the disc for Widows. Both connected wireless. I can do everything from both sides. I have 2 screens. The interface to scan on the MAC side works great but it is not very intuitive. You can not choose Scan to pdf you must set it up under details. Choose show details and detect enclosing box, Choose the size manually 150DPI at 300 it becomes to big to send VIA standard email, choose PDF format and scan. Now PDF is set as the default. Called tech support and they could not tell me how to do this. Hope this helps someone else.

I have had an Epson Artisan 810 for a couple of years now. Had an issue in the beginning of the doc feeder not working after a few weeks, but once it was replaced by Epson, never had an issue since. I have never seen a scanner that can scan multi-page docs so fast wirelessly!! It was so great, I sent this printer to 2 friends just to stop having to hear them complain about their printers!
I am a Mac Tech and I have been installing these new 837 models for my clients left and right, and no complaints yet! Some for photos, some for general office printing and almost all with iPads and iPhones. I am now wanting to replace my 810 with the 837... Great work Epson!!! Thank you!!!

This is a very slick printer. It is quiet and has a lot of cool touch screen features. With a touch of a button you can scan multiple documents directly into your computer, fax documents from your computer to another party, print photos from various sources, and easily handles all routine printing and photo printing needs. Print quality is excellent. It has a nice wireless system that allows printing from laptops, IPADs etc. The setup is easy, and worked smoothly with no problems. Very nice printer, and reasonably priced considering the feautures and quality. You won't be disappointed.

I just bought my Epson printer yesterday based on some reviews that I had read, I set it up and put in some 5x7 photo paper. The first ones were nice, so I thought I'd made a good purchase. Then, the prints all had vertical lines equally distance from one another on every picture. There are seven faint, but quite visible lines on the prints. It is from the printer--I have copies made elsewhere and they didn't have these lines. So I will be returning this printer.

I have had epsons for years but when my last printer an epson stylus finally gave up the ghost after 10 years I bought the Epson Artisan 837. I do a lot of home photography and wanted photo quality printing. After two years of very light use this printer is no longer usable. It's bad enough the ink costs a fortune but to get less than 2 years worth of use is a waste of my money.
