Nice copiers/printer

A very nice copier and printer. I bought it to print quality photos and also needed a copier. I does both very nicely; great color. The ink is very pricey, but produces wonder photos. I will use a second and much smaller printer for routine printing and the Epson 837 for quality work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

EPSON ARTISAN 837 ALL IN ONE PRINTER

I have had other Epson printers in the past and this one is as terrific as I have come to expect. It does a good job with ordinary printing with black or color. I especially love the PHOTO TRANSFER PAPER images that I am able to produce for my art pieces.
My one criticism is that it is a bit slow but worth the wait because of the quality of the finished product.
I would like a Rewards Card. How do I do one?

Epson Artisan 837

The 837 was very easy to set up and I was printing in a few minutes after I received it. This is my fourth Epson printer, and my 2nd Artisan printer. I print a lot of photos, plus I have to write a lot of reports. Using the double sided feature is an added bonus when I'm writing reports, which saves a lot of paper. The photos I print are of excellent quality, as good as or better than a lot of commerical printers I have used in the past. I believe anyone buying this printer will be well pleased with it.

Epson 837 All in one Printer

I have used this for a while now and the only thing that I don't like about it was that regular copy, printer paper gets jamed in the machine. It was told in the book to buy Epson paper instead of the other.

Best EPOSN ever!!

I've had the Artisan 837 for three months now. I also eliminated three different machines to have just one now. Setup was simple and the drivers loaded and then the web drivers loaded without incident.
Next step was conforming the other computer through the network. Piece of cake! Then it was on to the laptops, again, easy as pie. If someone was to complain, it would be they have to tell each computer how it gets connected and then wait for drivers and web drivers to loan. To me, if it works, its not an issue and in all five computers, it was flawless.
It picked up our PaperPort program which my wife uses for scanning and the scan cycle is sooo quite now. Even she commented how quiet it was. I scan to PDF and that also is smooth.
Print quality is very good and photos come out very nice as well. Wireless printing is just as easy from the laptop.
Faxing is just as easy once it's connected. I did a test page with no issues.
I just think it's the easiest printer we've ever had and we've had several Epson's in the past. None really failed, I just wanted to condense our home/office space and this printer has done it.
If there's one thing that may be an issue for some is the front feeder. If you're ready to take the page once its printed, you don't need the expandable tray to hold it, but, if not, it'll flood your desktop, or in our case, the floor with paper and you sort them later. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
Separte ink cartridges are a MUST for us and a big reason we stay with EPSON. However, if you run out of black, it won't print at all until you replace the ink. If you have items in the spool that didn't print, they'll print after the ink is replaced.
One BIG plus is the fact that if you setup the printer as a network printer, you don't need the "mother computer" running to use the printer through the network. All this means is the printer will be wired "hot" all the time and if you just have a laptop on and the desktop(s) off, you'll still be able to print just fine. To me, this is a very nice ability.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is printing to CD's but I don't think that will be a problem.
Recommend this printer 100%!

Good value for the money

Got the printer 2 days ago; Set it up in about 20 minutes and started printing pictures immediately.
Haven't tried the fax yet, but printing wireless from my iMac, Iphone and iPad it's been a breeze!
The scan quality is also good. I like the versatility of this printer a lot!
My 2 complains are that the the printer is very bulky( takes 1/2 of my desk space) and the pictures print pretty dark. I'm using HP glossy paper and the pictures are not as great as I was hoping for. Maybe the Epson paper would give me better results. We'll see....
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

It works Great!

I had bought a different brand that was a lemon from the get-go. This Epson Artisan printer has great color and works very well. Easy to install wireless connections. Paper feeds easily. Used for t-shirt transfers and the color was outstanding!
