I've had this printer for almost 2 weeks and so far so good. I like the touch screen panel display. I haven't used the Wifi yet. I've played around with some of the features, I've managed to create personalized steno paper using my own pictures. I didn't like that you can't pull pictures from your computer, you have to use a memory card. The photo prints very lightly, not sure if can be darkened. I love the quality of printing photos, however they only give you 2 sheets of photo paper to test. It looks just as good, if not better than when you have them developed at your local store. My major dislike is the front loading paper drawer. It's kind of flimsy & I have to push the tray in that holds the paper after it prints to load the paper. When printing envelopes, you have to unload the paper tray & load envelopes and it pulls several envelopes thru at 1 time which could be potential for causing jams. I bought this printer because my last Epson died after about 6 years. I wish this one had a rear paper feed b/c it's much easier than front loading, however I feel this printer will meet my printing needs. I'm able to scan multiple pages now although it's not warp speed & it took about 3 minutes to scan, process, & upload about 6 pages, which is fine for me b/c I don't scan that often. The setup is quick & simple. It's a good product for a good price. One of my coworkers has already ordered her one.

I just installed this printer yesterday. It was simple and fast. Beautiful picture prints and an easy label maker function which I have used already. And, very quiet. Hardly know it running. Set up was a breeze. Just a little trouble with the networking but if I had read all the directions before hand, there would not have been a problem So far this printer is great.

Easy download. This bad boy does everything but was my and word is Epson is working on that app...
I'm technology challenged and I was able to follow the prompts and get the 837 up and running. Now I have time to wash the car...

Purchased two of these printers. The setup was easy and they work GREAT. Love the direct CD/DVD printing feature and the print quality is outstanding! Photo printing is also GREAT.

So far so good. Does exactly what I want it to do. However, in this day and age I cannot believe that the printer is not dual voltage. Being stationed overseas this is a must. 80% or higher of all current electronics are dual voltage. Bad on me for not doing more research.

THE BENEFITS OF THE ARTISAN 837 (ART837)

After only two weeks since its installation, the ART837 achieved all of our expectations and more.
It makes great photos with clarity and contrast. The printable CD feature works "like a champ". The remote print capability provides the increased flexibility we were looking for.

Epson 837 All in one

This is a excellent unit it was purchased to replace a Epson 810 the we had for two year and the document feed would not work any more and could nolt obatin repairs for the 810, most of the epson reapir center nearby to us were no longer in businiess and the closest on was 400 miles away, so we retired the 810.
The new 837 printer has worked from day one the only thing if you had a previous printer like the 810 you MUST uninstall all the software and drivers from it or you will have problems setting the new one up.

This would be a much better printer if it would take any size envelope and off-brand photo paper. I do a lot of card-making and would like to use cheaper photo paper in stead of my good Epson since I'm only using graphics, not photos. Also, I have to fool the machine to get it to take odd sized envelopes. My old Epson would do both these things - take any size envelopes and off-brand photo paper would go through the printer just fine.
