This is one of the nicest printers i have had. Its quite, the photos are crisp, the dvds disc it prints are flawless. Bought it while on sale and am totally happy with this printer.

Epson Artisan 837 All-in-One Printer

This printer was recommended by Apple to work with my 3 MAC's. I also found good reviews elsewhere. I found it very easy to set up for a wireless network and had no problem doing the test print from each MAC. I have done color and B&W printing, copying, label printing, multi page copying with the document feeder, and scaning, all with great success. It also prints faster, and quieter, in both color & B&W, than any previous ink jet printer of mine, and the printing is very sharp, photos have excellent detail. The only thing I haven't done is the FAX option, as I haven't needed to FAX anything for years. If one is looking for an all in one printer I suggest that this one be at the top of the list to check out.

Another GREAT PRINTER from EPSON! A KEEPER!

A few years ago I purchased my 1st Epson printer... I was so pleased I personally thanked the salesperson at my next trip to the store! It still runs perfect and has never had a single problem! I recently found a need for another printer...therefore did my homework on reviews from consumers as well as websites....I read over and over about this Epson Artisan 837 printer being the one to buy...so because of past experience with Epson....it was an easy decision!
GREAT all-in-one printer! I am a photo enthusiast...I do pics not only for myself but extended family members all over the country...not for money, just because pictures can bring great joy and comfort to so many...seeing this reaction in people really touches my own heart. EASY hookup, I love the Wireless feature, fun Colorbook printing I can't wait to use on my grandchildren!! Up and running in no time at all! The printer looks very professional and classy...also really like the Touch Style Screen, works beautifully!! I am pleased to be able to send or receive Faxes from home, Scan important papers or pictures..and use the Duplex Printing feature! EPSON has indeed made a huge fan out of me!!! You won't be sorry if you choose this printer for yourself! Its FABULOUS!

Love this product. It prints pictures better than any printer I've had before. I love the true colors that really prints what I see on the screen. It easily hooked up to my wireless network. It even prints the tops of my CDs/DVDs! LOVE that! no sticky labels! YEAH! This is my second epson photo printer. I just hope my ink pads last as long or longer than my last epson.

Amazing so far

Okay I must be honest, I just got this last night, set up and printed my first picture. First set up is not just plug in and go, but each step went smoothly, even the update to drivers, and firmware was done automatically with promps telling you some simple steps you have to do, went without a hitch. I set up fax, even my epson email printer setup went great. The wireless network set up went great. Then I sent my first picture from lap top and printed, wow, color amazing. I own the epson stylus pro 4800 and the color is not as eye popping, but I realize it is harder to set correctly and I don't have it set correctly yet. The thing is I didn't twick the settings much just paper choice, paper size and let the printer set other settings and the picture as I said is amazing. I haven't used fax, or scanner yet but if they go as well, and the auto document feeder , glad I went with this choice .

Great Buy

I bought this to replace my old Epson Stylus Photo 300R (I actually recieved it as a gift), and so far I am thoughly pleased. Setup was a breaze and print speed and quality are phenominal. I am happy that the CD printing is now integrated and doesn't require feeding a separate CD print tray, AND I now have a scanner, FAX and duplex printing, right on my desk... YAY! Finally, the fact that you can load BOTH photo (up to 5x7) and plain paper (up to legal size) in the paper tray at the same time and the printer software allows you to choose which to print on - no more loading one kind of paper, then unloading and reloading different paper...!!
I look forward to as many years of printing with this device as I had with my nearly 10 year old Epson Stylus Photo 300R (which was flawless up until the end, I might add...)! I will miss my old Epson... but this new one ROCKS!!!

Incredible printer

Very easy to set up.. Having a Mac makes the installation a snap. I was up and running the Apple i Print in no time. The WiFi setup program found my network automatically and connected as quickly as I could tap the touch pad screen. Printing from my iPad and iPhones was a piece of cake. The scanning function was disappointing because you can't use the printer touch pad to send a scan to the computer but it was easy to figure out how to scan the document by following the manual and using Image Capture to upload the scans from the computer. This is a noisy printer but I don't mind as it is a joy to use and is a great bargain for the price.

Just purchased. Installed software on 2 computers. One Win 7 and the other was Win XP. Install went without a hitch, found my network. Easiest install ever. Will have to update review after using for a while. Found a great bargin, was going to buy this printer before great deal. Like the advantage of the individual cartridges insead of having to replace the whole cartridge of color if you happed to run out of one particular color. Also researched the price of the individual cartridges and they were reasonable. Hope to get many years of service from this one. Will update after using for a month. Also liked the fact that you can scan directly to a .pdf file. Needed that for my companies expense reports.
