No regrets!

My HP Photosmart 8180 died on me and after a little research, I ended up buying the Artisan 837. Lots of bells and whistles. Easy installation BUT you need to download the SCAN driver from Epson's site. The driver on the cd provided is out of date. Trying to figure out how to send faxes and instructions are not thorough enough. A call to tech support will fix that.

I checked the reviews before I purchased the Artisan 837 and I have to say it not only lived up to the rave reviews but exceeded them. It was very easy to set up. The quality of the pictures are fantastic. The color is amazing. It came with starter ink but I checked the cost of replacements and they are very pricey. I'll have to see how many copies I get from the full replacement cartridges before I decide if the cost is reasonable. The bottom line is I love this printer and would highly recommend it.

SO FAR THIS PRINTER IS EXCELLENT. THE PHOTO PRINTS ARE AWSOME. THE REGULAR PAPER PRINTS ARE VERY GOOD. WHAT I REALLY LIKE IS THE CD/DVD PRINT. THE CD I PRINTED LOOKED LIKE A CARBON COPY OF THE ORGINAL. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS PRINTER LONG AT ALL, BUT SO FAR IT IS GREAT.

well just brought home the 837 and set it up, was simple, and also hooked it up to both the usb and wi-fi. tried the wifi from the other room to send a pic and it works like a champ.so as far as being impressed i am, but its only the first day of playing with it. was real easy to set up both on wifi and usb, printed out couple of pics from my computer and the detail and sharpness is outstanding. am wondering though if i can have the wife send pics from another location ie her office which she has wifi, and send them to the printer here to print out a pic? if anyone has that answer please let me know asap thanks.

This is the BEST all-in-one printer I have ever owed. The QUALITY is NEXT to PERFECT! Just about as good as a laser printer. The photos turn out SUPER!

Epson Artisan 837 Printer/scanner

This printer/scanner is so easy to use. Very straightforward instructions and very clear printing and scanning. The only drawback I see so far is scanning to a pdf is a bit slow. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

The printer is nice, I get more errors then I care for when trying to print regarding paper size. I think Epson iprint and Epsonconnect could be improved to provide more options and reduce the number of errors when trying to print. I wish you could have 4x6 and 5x7 paper in the paper tray at the same time. It prints quality pictures though and prints fairly quick. It was easy to set up wirelessly.
