Nice printer

All in one printer does everything and then some. We use it in my wireless home network and even set it up to print from our smartphones through an email application installed on the printer as firmware.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson 837 All-in One Printer

I only got the printer three days ago and so far I like it a lot. It seems fairly sinple to use and gives step by step on screen prompts for easy operation. It will print onto DVD and CD discs also with a nice creative on screen menu for custom labels. The printer looks nice and seems to do about any thing I need. I'll write another review later after I've used it for a few weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Happy With New Printer

We bought this printer after having a different brand for the past 10 years. After the salesperson demonstrated multiple printers for us, we decided on the Epson 837. It was easy to hook up and we really like the wireless feature. I have not bought ink yet, so I don't know how long the cartridges last. The two-sided printing, document feeding, and large touch screen were all selling points for us. Overall, this has been a great purchase.

WIRELESS: EASE OF SET UP

At first I tried to set my new 837 off the CD. The CD could not recognize my router. So I went to the printer and presto the priinter picked up the network settings and now works like a charm.
We bought this printer for my father. He's been asking us to get an Epson for years. This is our first inkjet. My husband was impressed with the six cartridges. I learned that I could get higher capacity cartridges, too.
So all is well with the 837.

Easy set-up, works as intended. Scanning, fax features nice. Great to print directly to CDs/DVDs = better documentation could be provided for this feature. Quiet, runs as expected

Great quality and value

I found the Epson Artisan 837 on sale and purchased it. I had previous experience with Artisan 8xx series devices and they were all great. I purchased the Artisan 837 because it now supports Apple's AirPrint (allowing me to print directly from my iPhones and iPads). This works great.
The printer is easy to set up and the photo quality is great.

I have it working with the WiFi connection from multiple systems. I have used all the major functions; printing, copying, scanning and faxing. The front touch screen panel works great and the menu system is logically organized and easy to navigate.
I did encounter one issue, that I expect will be resolved soon. The MAC OS X 10.7 (Lion) USB drivers are not yet ready. I am able to do everything using the WiFi connection so it is not a big issue for me but I did spend some time with Epson support on the USB driver issue.
It is a great All-In-One device that can be had for a discounted price if you look around.

Performs like an Epson

I have owned many printers from all the big names. Previously I had an Artisan 700 which produced outstanding photo prints. The Artisan 837 keeps up the great reputation of Epson and adds full duplexing and FAX capability for office work. The wireless setup is way too easy and the large touch screen control panel is cool. The printer is fast and output is great. So far nothing but good things can go in my review of this printer.
