Just received Artisan 837, after setup.
What more can I say, It is one of my best printers

We have multiple devices in the house from desktops to iPads to Smart Phones. The setup permits us to print from any device wireless. Easy to set up and flawless directions.

Epson 837 printer

Very easy set-up. Many all-in-one options. I use the CD printing and it's so easy. Also the 2 sided paper saves a lot of paper. I had the 830, then the 835 and now the 837 ... GREAT printer... they were all great printers. That's why I keep upgrading.

Owned a 810 since they came out, not one problem. Prints fast. Got an I-Pad and need to print from it and the 837 does the job trouble free and easy!!

Artisan 837 All in one printer

I quickly received my new printer and found it was very user friendly. At this point I am not using the wireless feature on this printer and had to buy a USB cord, but could have used the old USB from the printer I replaced. It was easy to set up and so far everything is working as I expected. I have an Epson printer at work and was so satisfied with the way it worked I had to replace my Kodak printer. The quality of copies with my Kodak printer was not very good. This particular printer is really cool and does even more than the printer I have at work. So far I am very happy and would highly recommend Epson printers to anyone I know looking for a new printer. I got a good price on this printer through the Epson store.com. Thanks Epson. Keep up the good work!

Disappointed in overall performance

I mainly bought this for the Epson name and have been disappointed in the printing(quality) of pictures and the paper tray is very flimsy. I haven't used it for that long so I am hoping it lasts for a few years and then I plan on buying a photo only printer. I also noticed the restore photo function didn't work too well also. The regular scan and copy functions are adequate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing photo quality

Great printer with excellent photo quality. Overall is very good. A few issues: paper output tray should be seperate from front door that closes unit, plus tray is flimsy, cheap plastic.Paper input tray is also cheap plastic, not sure if it will handle regular use. The use of multiple ink cartridges for individual binary light colors makes a ton of sence. As a photographer I would rate this as great! As a home or business user only time will tell. So far this is a great machine that I will use and likely be very happy and satisfied with the results. Thanx Epson, but dont skimp on paper trays and cheap plastic parts, when you could have the total package solution for demanding phographers at a good price point.

The biggest problem we have with this printer is that it will quite often grab 4 or 5 sheets of paper at a time and it will print partially on all of them. It's quite frustrating when I am trying to print several pages. It wastes a lot of time having to reprint them. Also, I can't get it to print with cardstock which would be nice. I don't like the paper tray because the paper doesn't stay straight and my documents often print slightly crooked. Lastly, the magenta ink leaks occasionally on my documents. Im not too impressed by this printer.
