I wish that Epson had kept the 800 series going. I own two, a 800 & a 837. The only problem that I have incurred so far is the automatic feed on the 800 does not function...not worth sending out for repair (out-of-warranty period!!), but I enjoy & use both printers daily. I appreciate that when the black ink level is very low, I have an option to use a backup system of colors to effect the lack of black.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Artisian 837 All In One Printer

This printer seems to have melt downs at any given time for no reason at all. When trying to scan it will tell me that it is not connected to a computer, when in fact it is.
Printing with certain paper is also an issue.......Sometimes it is fine & other times not.

I am a bit disappointed considering the brand & the money I paid for it. I excepted better.

Professional printer, highly reliable, great color, sharp images, ink is long-lasting, company sends printer updates as needed, best printer I have ever owned.

Great Machine

I have had the artisan series in the past and keep buying them. They have a small clean foot print and I love the touch screen instead of buttons. It is always too dark for bad eyes with standard buttons. Everything is bright big and easy to see and clean, also has a simple menu. It also allows you to choose large capacity ink cartridges as an option. I would have given it 5 stars, but ink is pricey. Then again so are most the inks in most other printers. None of them will get 5 stars from me unless there is economical ink.

Great Printer

Have owned my Artisan 837 for over a year now. First of all compared to the Artisan 800 it replaced ink consumption is night and day different. The 837 is more efficient. Prints are clean and crisp, and overall I am quite pleased with the printer. It seems that Epson really got it right with this all- in-one printer. Would definitely purchase this product again.

Epson Artisan 837 All-in-One Printer

This product has exceeded my expectations. I enjoy being able to use printable CD/DVD/BLU-RAY Discs. The Artisan 837 is one of the few printers on the market to have an integrated Disc printer tray as part of the mechanism as well as the ability to do true double sided page printing without having to manually re-insert a page. Disc printing is quick(15 seconds or so). The integrated photo tray is very dependable. Output quality is exceptional in all formats, to include "Fast Print" settings. This Epson Ink Jet printer is top of the line in my opinion. Both wireless and wired modes work equally well. I would recommend it to everyone who wants all the bells and whistles without breaking the bank.

I have been trying to load the scan and Fax capabilities on my printer / computer all morning without susses.
Normally I am very high on Epson owning 5 of them but this situation is causing my to reconsiderthat position.
