Nice All In One Printer

I have had this printer for a little over a year now and have been satisfied with it. However, it is not a fast printer and does make a lot of noises before it prints a job. The software that comes with it is very good as is the print quality. It is wired and wireless, but you can only use one or the other. If you decide to use the wireless, then the wired is disabled, however you can still print to it if your PC is wired.
It also prints directly on DVD and CD media and does a great job of it. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a full featured printer.

This is the third Epson all-in-one I have bought. I am still using an 810 & 837. I use the 837 for photos copying & the 810 for everything else. I am very happy with both. The only reason I bought the 837 was the doc feeder on the 810 quit working after about4 years.
The only thing I have any complaint with is the price of the ink

I only gave this 3 stars because of the following:
I purchased the 837 because my 835 started having lines in the print. The first 837 had to be replaced in about 4 months because it malfunctioned. The second one is OK. The touch screen is very touchy, meaning you have to keep pressing. The paper sliders are not great, about every other page brings out 2 pieces of paper. BUT I have not checked the paper to see if that is a problem. As far as photos it does a beautiful job. I hope the life of the printer is longer than the 835. I will stick with Epson for photos but I think when I have to purchase another one it will be strictly for photos and I will get another brand for office type work.

Good printer.

This printer is a real good printer. The only two things that would be an improvement are that there is no envelope feed to make printing addresses on envelopes convenient and it seems that the print head needs cleaning quite often. Granted, the head cleaning is automated but still, when I see ink blotches on my print out I know it's head cleaning time. Other than those, I love all the features including direct disk printing and automatic two sided printing. Would definitely recommend.

A Great All-in-One

I've has the Artisan 837 for several months now. It has never disappointed me. It prints great documents and pics. Also, the scanner has been great! I haven't purchased a high end OCR program and all of the documents I've scanned have converted perfectly. I highly recommend this All-in-One.

Good Printer

The Artisan 837 is a good printer for me. Some said it was too loud, but not that bad to me. Print quality is great. Only one complaint - it will pick up more than one sheet of paper many times when printing several copies - even with the correct specified type paper. If that problem was corrected, it would be a perfect printer.

Easy set up, good colors, I love the top feeding copy feature for copying multiple pages. Very nice photo printer. Dependable, great software package. Great scanner is a plus too.

837 All-in-One Printer

I found the paper tray very difficult to extract or place into the printer. Because the tray is very thin plastic it warps easily. Paper jams are quite prevalent and accessing the inner works to clear the jams caused warpage of the cover piece creating a disconnect. The printer is now out of service and the cost to repair is more than a new printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
