I originally purchased the printer to print pictures and because the salesman told me that he had this printer and reserved strictly for printing pictures.
I have been very happy with the quality of prints. Had some problem with the volume of black ink but ran through the self cleaning process and corrected the problem.
It has since become my primary printer partially due to the ease of connecting wirelessly and being able to print from my I phone.
Very good printer and support from Epson.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unfortunately I have had problems with this particular product. My original Artisan 837 had to be returned because it would not print. I received a rehab which presents me with a similar problem and more than the original. But I still believe Epson printers are the best on market. One of my recent problems was complicated, again, not printing. I did however reach real live technicians by phone who talked me through sessions that lasted hours. Finally, at least for now, printer and PC work together. It was something I could not have done by going thru checklist.
The technicians were not only helpful and pleasant but very tech savvy with the Epson printer and corrected the communications problem. It was a good experience to be able to work with a real person.

After about a year and a half of moderate use, a sensor failed and would not recognize the blue ink cartridge. Repair cost would be greater than cost of a new printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer has done everything and more that I need for my business. Replacing the ink has been a snap.
The customer service has been excellent also. I do recommend this printer.

This is a great printer. Reliable and the ink is reasonably priced and last a long time. I highly recomment this printer for a home office.

My Epson Artisan 837 All-in-One Printer was a Christmas gift last year. At first I loved it, but just a few weeks later, it started to annoy the heck out of me, by not feeding paper correctly, making all sorts of noises when it printed and the scanner never worked. The Epson Support recommended that I return it for another, which I did. This one I have now works much better, but still makes horrible sounds when printing, and paper still does not feed too well. Finally after several (many) sessions with Epson Support, the scanner does work. It is the paper issue that I am unhappy with mostly. This printer will not print card stock. I am lucky if I can get 4 to 5 sheets to print after unacceptable times reinserting the paper when the it stops and says the paper is jammed. If this printer had not been a gift, I would not be an owner if it. I must say, tho that the Epson Support peeps are great! I give them more stars than the printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My brother had one for a couple years always bragged about it. My old Dell printer (junk) died. I decided to trade-up. Best printer I've had! I like this model even better than the newer one. Great quality, ewsy to use, fair price.
