Problem scanning

I have the current version of Mac OS. The printer doesn't work easily with wifi. Can't just press tha scan button on the printer. Now need to open Epson scan on computer first per customer service. Will this corrected with new driver or something?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scanning, document, envelope and photo printing are quick, crisp and colourful. Wireless network setup is simple and reliable and the front panel touch screen is comprehensively easy to navigate. If for any reason there is a failure, the Epson website provides all of the necessary tools to resolve almost any issue.

Great Improvement

I am very pleased with the 837 having owned an 835 for many years. The 837 seems much more rugged and responsive. The touch screen is a huge improvement in the way the icons are laid out. The CD tray button is now on the screen rather than a physical button which was a weak spot on the 835. Overall I am very happy with this unit.

We have had other printers but this is our first Epson. It is by far the best printer we have owned. The color reproduction is excellent and the print quality is also excellent. This was a very good choice and for sure our next printer will also be an Epson. Excellent product.

This printer is sleek and not too big. It prints well and clearly. Paper is easy to load and front display screen is clear. Sometimes it's hard to have the device receive my finger pressing of a command and I have to press several times. This should be easier to do. It uses 6 different color cartridges which can be purchased for 1/3 the cost of stores via some web sites. This printer does many things, but I am having difficulty understanding how to get it set up for all these options. I still can't find its own email address despite the FAQs which are not helpful. It has been frustrating to try to get it totally set up to do all I want it to do. However, once I eventually do (with outside help) I am sure it will perform well. It is also very quiet.
