Darn it anyway!

I dislike having to write negative reviews on any product. This is no exception. The Artisan 837 did produce some excellent photos, and I normally print 300-350 8.5x11 photos every month. The only drawback with this printer was the cost of ink. As you can imagine I go through quite a bit of ink each and every month. So, I set about looking for a printer that wouldn't cost me so much monthly...and I found one, so I no longer have the Artisan 837.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set up's a breeze and the menu functions are easy to use. Anyone can walk up to this printer and figure out how to use the scan and copy functions. The photo quality is outstanding as are the competitors. The wireless wifi has been trouble free and I have owned it for about a year. The printer never fails to connect with the network. The ink is a rip off and I will give you the reason why. Greed, greed, greed. OK, three reasons why.

Overall a very good printer. Print quality is excellent. Photo print quality is particularly good. Speeds are very good. WIFI works well and installation was easy.
Ink costs are a bit high. Feeds and stackers seem a bit flimsy Otherwise, this is a very good printer at a reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEST PRINTER EVER! Make sure though when you change photo paper to put the shiny part down. Pictures print out fast. Faxing, scanning, everything is great about this printer!

Epson Artisan 837 al-in-one

Have used the Epson for about 6 months. It works great. I think the model is replaced now, but I'd recommend it.

Excellent Printer

I have had my Epson Artisan 837 since June 2012.
The operation has been flawless. It is fast and the color photos are outstanding. It is on my home network serving my Win 7 OS computer as well as my wife's Win XP OS computer. I haven't used the fax, scanning, or print CD features but I intend to use those features when the need arises. The wireless capability is a big plus. For me, it is a 5 star printer.

This printer delivers excellent print quality for documents, photos, and printable DVDs. Easy set-up, good FAX quality, excellent wireless speed, and scan resolution.
