Epson Artisan 837 All In One Printer

The best all around printer I have ever owned. It comes close to photo quality I get on my Epson 3880 professional printer.

Really improved features from my previous printer, the Artisan 800, particularly the ease of double sided printing. I have owned other non-Epson printers and often experienced jammed paper and other problems. I am happy with Epson and will buy the brand again.

I needed a new printer - just a printer - but got this one because it had very good reviews for printing photos. It does very nice photos, and I'm pleased with it. I never fax, so will probably never use that part of it. I'm disappointed that it doesn't scan and convert black and white negatives, as my old scanner does (the Epson Perfection 4990 Photo). I have several thousand very old b & W negatives to scan and store, so I need that capability. So my new unit is used only for printing, and takes up a lot of space for that, while I continue to use my old scanner.

Epson 837

This is a good machine with only a couple of issues. First, from time to time it will dispense several blank pages along with the printed page produced and sometimes the document feeder will draw in more than one page at a time when copying or faxing. This is extremely bothersome during faxing as you have to start all over.

Crisp Rich Color and Quick Printing

The Epson Artisan 837 is great for printing high quality photographs. I have used the finished product as framed art. It is easy to set-up and change the toner cartridges. There are 6: black, cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, and yellow.
The Epson Artisan 837 quickly prints anything sent its way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is a good printer. the first one I bought was Artisan 800 and this one is 837. The picture and the text quality is very good for an all in one printer. I like direct print dvd function. I print more than 600 dvds by using the Artisan 800 and I expect the same liability from Artisan 837.

I got it and haven't used it. The ink was out so I had to buy cartridges which cost almost as much as I paid for the printer. I will use my other printer as it is less expensive to operate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one of the best printers I have had the pleasure of using. I have only had it for a few months. But, so far it has performed flawlessly.
