I purchased the Artisan 837 to replace an HP PhotoSmart printer that was not working for me. (That was my first and last HP.)
Setup of the Epson was quick and simple. The ADF and duplex features are very nice. I take a lot of wildlife photos and am very happy with the quality of the photos.
My only complaint is the ink yield and cost of ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased Artisan 837 All in One Printer based on reviews, that was a mistake. Photos are not as good as with my old photo printer. Scanning leaves a gray cast in the background. Document printing is fine and copies are fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great all in one. Great for photos. Works every time. I bought one for my son and his wife and am going to get one for my Aunt.

I have installed other printers before and never have any other have been more clear in the instructions and the set up was a breeze.
I have been more than pleased by the quality of the printed documents

I bought the artisan 837 is an upgrade for the artisan 800. So far its been a real good printer just like the 800 with more options. Wireless setup was a breeze. I'm able to print photos and documents from my cellphone, tablet and laptop with ease. Not to mention to be able to print labels directly to your printable CD's. I recommended it to my friends and family.

While the printer overall is OK one of the inks is not stable. After printing photos the color of hair changes from the normal brown tones to a off color greenish tinge.
Overall good for text. NOT good for photos.
