This printer is gorgeous, & can fulfill all your printer needs. It was so easy to set up, prints great pictures, & I don't think I will ever try another brand or model of printer for as long as I live. I love this printer that much!

Great for Mountain Lion

I couldn't believe how hard it was to find a printer scanner combination that works well with Mountain lion. I also can't believe how much I love the Artisan 837.
The setup process was a bit more complicated than I care for but not ridiculous. Once it's set up it works extraordinarily well.
My favorite features:
-The way the printer door pops open automatically when you print.
-The document feeder for scanning multiple pages.
-The fact that I can scan wirelessly!
-The print quality.

The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that I've only had a few days and I'm not sure how durable it will be. Some of the plastic pieces seem a little more flimsy that I would have liked.

Great printer in all respects. Very intuitive to the point that I rarely had to resort to the manual. Easy printer to use and the photos are terrific. Much value for the dollar!

Have had problems printing since I went to OS 10. But this printer seems to handle printing just fine and setup was simple enough.

Preliminary impression

I have been using this printer for about a week.
Setup was a breeze and I did not have any issues connecting to my wifi.
Printed a photo from my iphone using the Epson app without any difficulty.
Photo quality was excellent.
No idea about cartridge life.
