Epson Artisan 730 All-in-One Printer

This is really a great printer! I am very impressed with the quality and the speed. It seems to relatively easy on the ink usage and I can report ZERO paper misfeeds/jams. I am TOTALLY satisfied with this "730"!

Love my all in one printer. Copy quality is great. Set up was very simple. Color is really rich. Best feature is the fact that it is wireless and I can put it anywhere!Perfect for my home office and my grandson's school projects. Scanner comes in very handy for recipies and receipts. All around great printer!

Great value on a printer that makes excellent quality photo prints, copies, and regular text printing. As with most printers today, the cost of the hardwear is very reasonsable, while the cost of ink seems high. However, ink is a consumable, and without it....we having nothing. So, it's a "cost of doing business" if you want to have a printer and actually PRINT. LOL

Great Photo Printer

Since starting as an amateur photographer several
years ago I've always used Epson Photo printers. This is my second "Artisan 50" printer. I actually purchased it a few months early (stored it) because I thought it may go out of production and I really liked it and wanted another one. It is the most reasonable in price for it's great quality. Thank you Epson.

Artisan 730 Evaluation Opinion

I found the Model 730 to be very impressive with its quality and simplicity of operation. It was a simple system to connect to my home computer and produced no complications during that process. Picture quality is excellent and it prints quickly and quietly. Something I like a great deal was the ability to reload paper without having to stop any ongoing process nor 'opening up' the unit. The slideout paper tray is very simplistic to use and presents no problems to the user. A feature which I've found to be very useful is the ability to print both sides of each sheet without having to remove the printed pages and manually inverting them for the reverse side. The scanner section also reminds you to remove the original page from the bed to assure keeping that page to return to file or segregation. I had occasion to scan a fairly poor quality photo printed on regular paper. The photo was 'pink' from the deteriorating of the film being left in a 'Brownie' Camera for five decades. After scanning and printing, the photo was of much improved quality and the pink was gone, replaced by fairly 'true color' of the original subjects, giving me a much greater level of viewing pleasure this historic photo. The ink cartridges seem to be quite long-lived, and have also been found to be fairly reasonable in pricing, giving me much more ink for my dollar than previous printers of differing brands that I have owned. There is only one thing I found that detracts from the 730, that being the pullout 'shelf' for the printed pages to rest on. It's somewhat flimsy and, to me, feels fragile when being pulled into the user position.

THE EPSON 730 PRINTER IS GREAT. I WILL GLADLY RECOMMEND IT TO MY ASSOCIATES. BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW RELIABLE IT IS OR THE LIFE OF THE INK PAD, WHICH I FEEL THAT THE INK PAD ESSENTIAL TO THE PRODUCTIVITY OF THE PRINTER.

This printer was a replacement for the same model purchased previously. That Artisan 730 printed beautifully and effortlessly, but presented problems in scan function. The old unit was just barely within warranty. When I contacted Support they took me step by step through procedures that typically "fix" the problem. When that didn't work THEY determined the unit was still under warranty. The return process was simple and I had a new printer in 3 days. I can't say enough about their effort to make good on their product.

I am on my second one as the first one was a lemon....the one they sent me to replace it is a little better, but sometimes just doesn't want to print. For the price I paid, it is adequate. It does scan and copy really well, though. Just has a problem printing from time to time.
