Great little all-in-one

When I was faced with replacing my RX-595 all-in-one, a printer that had taken me through 7 film festivals and dozens of other events.
The Artisan series was the only series for me. I use the disk print option several times a week to print labels on client disks.
The Artisan 730, the smallest of the series, has done a great job on the disks as well as its print and scan functions.
I would recommend this printer and the entire series to anyone who might have the need of printing disks they create.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Efficient

I have found this printer to be efficient in terms of ease of use and ink production. I also like to print my own labels on inkjet cd and dvd media, and this printer performs excellently for this. Overall I am highly satisfied with the features and performance for the price.

We use this printer for home & small Photography business both on our network and USB connection. It's so easy to use. I can scan directly from the 730 or my computer. I love the easy to use controls. It's the best printer for making photographs that I have found.

EPSON ARTISAN 730

This will be a short review/rating. I bought the Artisan 730 and began to "put it together".. Unfortunately, the USB cable needed in order to connect it to my PC was not included in the purchase. I was then forced to buy a USB cable which included a two year service/money back guarantee package. I think that having to purchase that package was unnecessary.... The USB cable should have been included with the printer.
However, after I installed all of the software and went through all of the priming, I discovered that this printer is absolutely, as they said in the 1980s, 'The BOMB"!! I love this printer.... The ink cartridges are a bit expensive, and I have used only the cartridges included with the printer, but I do plan to buy extra cartridges and hope that they are long-lasting cartridges... They must be for the price....
Great printer.... LOVE IT!!

EPSON Artisan 730 - buy something else

The Scanner/Copier are fantastic. Works much faster than previous model.
The paper feeder is flimsy plastic and almost never works. It grabs 2-3 pieces of paper almost every page you print. The printer seems to use a lot of ink for the number of pages being printed.
I doubt that I will ever purchase another Epson printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer has the speed.... the quality... the versatility we needed. It is easy to load. The feed and print is straight and true. Excellent document printing and photo quality. Good stuff.

EASY! SUPERB QUALITY & ABILITY 4 THE $MONEY$

We found our new Artisan 730 All In One printer to be excellent. Simple setup, easy home networking, (just wish we could have setup all of the other devices in the house from the first setup somehow) easy to use, with everything so easy, it is surprisingly, a powerhouse in functionality. It does it all with ease, two-sided printing automatically, no taking the pages out and turning them around or is it over, oops wasted paper. It scans with ease, even doing books, 2 pages on one paper. Print and copy all of you document needs but especially your photos. They come out beautiful, with so many ways to access them. Every device we have that has printing capabilities can print on the network, IPad, IPhone, camera, TV, it's awesome! Plus, you can print directly on printable CD and DVD's. I love having the paper tray instead of the slot in the back of the printer that you have to make sure the paper is in just the right position to feed properly. The tray will hold two sizes of paper at one time, such as letter and 4 x 6" photo, so you don't have to constantly get up and change what paper is in the machine. We keep the printer in the office and print from three rooms away without a problem. We have 2 Epson printers, Workforce (WorkHORSE) 310 and the Artisan 730, on our network with no problems so far. It can do even more but this was amazing enough for us, we use it for both personal and business and we highly recommend this Espon printer.
We find the Epson brand of ink to be the very best product on the market at a mid price range. The colors are vibrant when you want them to be and light when you want.
I wish there was a way to have a document feeder tray for copying and scanning multiple pages, but that's why we keep the WorkHORSE.
