This unit is great, it works wonderful from all computers and wireless devices in our home. So far the best all in one we have purchased.

Not happy: paper sticks together, print spreads out over several pages, can't use any other, less expensive ink, can't hook up scanner. Will never buy another epson product

Just purchase wireless model to tandem w/ my laptop works great!!! Set-up directions real clear 7 easy to follow. Is a bit noisy when operates, console well designed, chassis a bit larger and bulkier than expected but adaptable to space.. Prints text clearly fairly rapidly, color prints nice even on standard bond paper. Good Price and good for home use..

Good replacement

I had to replace my Photo RX 700 all-in-one printer when the ink pads became saturated. I wanted the same functions with 6 colors for good color prints and the ability to print CD/DVD printable disks. I have just started using the Artisan and find it faster with equivalent quality for document and color print printing. I like the paper and CD trays better than the old printer. I do not see the output quality criticism of on-line reviews but I am comparing the output with my former Epson printer. The Artisan 730 appears to be a good value for the price.

My Artisan Printer

I like how it prints out my pictures much faster than the othr Epson printer I replaced with it. Unfortunately, when I needed to scan a document to upload on an e-mail, it didn't have the feature while the other Epson printer did (Epson Stylus). So both exchange benefits, I couldn't judge one is better than the other.

I feel like I made a lucky purchase for a friend

Have owned several Epson printers and my first digital camera. Have serviced and repaired many makes and models of injet, dot matrix, lazer, scaners, coppyers, etc. for a friend in the buisness. Parts and availability are my big concern. Light weight plastic parts are not to my likeing, but the person that I bought this unit for is not heavy handed. The fastest inkjet, plus verry good photo and doc. prints that I have used in this price range. $100 instant rebate made it a no brainer.

Bought a refurbushed printer. Normally I prefer refurbished, the cost is lower and the product has been checked out by techs!Never had a problen with refurbished cameras! this came today and the first thing, it was shipped without the transportation lock and it had a paper jam! I'm saying I would recommend to a friend but I really don't know yet. One major thing is the paper loading, WHAT A PAIN!!! I really hope this machine works well my last Epson laster 9 years!

Before You Can Use This Printer.....

This printer has many great features. However, it is not instantly compatible with Windows 8 systems. It requires that you first download a Windows 8 driver for this particular model. The seller recommended NOT using the accompanying installation CD. Instead, I used the seller's online control center (which is an additional cost beyond the price of the printer). This online installation took about 10 minutes.....and the printer was immediately up and running. Downloading the Windows 8 driver takes about 45 minutes.
