scanner doesn't connect

I hooked up the printer using the wifi connection.
The printer works with wifi, but the scanner doesn't. I checked the wifi connection and settings. One says it's OK, the other says no?
That's OK because I mainly bought the printer for the CD/DVD printer. I hooked up with the USB port and the scanner worked but it is really slow.

Love this printer!

I recently purchased this printer as a replacement for a Epson Artisan 725 model. It prints really good pictures and is easy to operate. Would buy from Epson in the future.

Some issues with wireless connectivity when installed in Win8Pro. Installed in Win8 Virtual Machine by VMware on OS 10.8.2 and all apps for the 730 function well using the Win8 OS as far as I can tell at this time. Phone support to get around connectivity issue was great thanks to Josheph.

Had for 4 days - Printed Business Cards and a CD Label, both came out perfectly. Scanned picture for CD Label worked very well.

Amazingly Simple Installation

As a non-techminded person, simplicity of installation is of number one importance. It was a pleasant surprise to find the installation and set up of the Artisan 730 was the easiest of any printer I've had. I was a satisfied Artisan owner before I ever printed a page! After the first prints came off, I was even happier. The crispness and clarity of each print is amazing!

Customer support is great, other than not being able to understand every word. Really like the product, as soon as the replacement works! Ink is expensive but the printing is very clear.
