Fabulous printer

I had an Artisan 810 that finally gave up the ghost. I had enjoyed the quality of that printer and wanted another. The 730 photo print quality is actually better then the 810.

Epson scan via wireless connection

I can not get Epson Scan utility to run from the desktop icon. It can't establish a connection and times out. I was able to get the utility to work through an "import" command through a third party photo editing software package. Other than this, I'm quite happy with the quality and speed of this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Artisan 730 All-in-one

Wireless setup was fast and easy for PCs on the network running Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Scans are intuitive, prints wirelessly to PCs across the house and copies efficiently.

I have only used my new printer a few times but it seems to print very well. The print quility is excillent. The plastic parts, like the paper tray, seem a little fragile and delicate though. I am concerned tha they might not hold up over time. I feel like I have to be very careful with them.

Just finished setting up this printer for my desktop and laptop. One wired and one wireless. Easy setup for both. Printing is very fast and the photo came out beautifully. I have been using Epson printers for years and this one is great. I can't wait to try printing to CD/DVD's. I have used this feature a lot on my last printer and love having this ability. I would definitely recommend Epson printers.

I bought this to replace an old Epson R380. I like the printed photo results very much. I think this may use less ink than the R380 because I am still on the starter cartridges after at least 30 4X6 photos and I still have over 3/4 full on cartridges.
I do not like the photo tray, very flimsy and hard to adjust for different size paper.
