I've owned better printers

I couldn't, in good conscience, give this any more than three stars. The copies that it makes are fine, but the paper feeder doesn't work properly. It doesn't like it when I try to print a multi-paged document. It will start a page on one sheet and then finish the page on the next sheet. And if I want to do labels, I must do one page at a time. I had Christmas labels to print out, and this was most time-consuming, using the one-page-at-a-time system. I have tried reloading the drivers, but I am still having the problem. I've owned the printer for just about a year, so I am not sure that there is anything else I can do about this problem.

Don't know how well it works yet- still trying to set it up! why does this product not come with some sort of instructions, CD for the driver, warranty? You are just supposed to take it out of the box and figure it out? At least include an internet link!

With limited useage, print quaility-poor.Banding occured. Cleaned print head three times to no avail. Not to keen on the scanning function-perhaps I'm too familiar with my other Epsons. Willing to wait until I've replaced the ink cartridges to pass final judgement. I've always been a proponent of Epson printers and will continue to buy and use same. This is my fourth Epson printer. Found a small white plastic part, taped to the bed of the paper tray, no indication on the quick set -up guide as to what it was for or where it goes.

I do like the additional features over 710 model but I don't have enough usage to make an accurate description at this time. I'm having more trouble trying to access MYEPSON account . I'll have a better review with more operation.

Software

The software included with the Artisan is poor. The system loads but near the end the entry that the volume is incorrect pops up, the CD pops out, and the machine locks up. Very bad Epson, very bad.

so i printed SIX 4 by 6 photos and already out of ink...i guess that is about $10.00 per picture not counting the paper. the quality is ok but i have see better.
note all epson printers: if one cartridge runs out - you unable to print anything.
the print quality is great at first and declines quickly after some use. Then it spits out horrible photos.
the paper feeder is ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous who ever came up with it should be unemployable at this point.
