I was looking for a printer obviously, but wanted a high quality scanner as well. I very frequently have a need to scan a document for email purposes. It took about 30 minutes to install everything, including the WiFi (no USB cord required). Everything worked wonderfully and I was actually amazed at the quality of the full color PDF scans. Ink for this machine is expensive however. It uses black plus 5 color cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NOT REALLY A WIRELESS DEVICE THE ONLY THING IT WILL DO WIRELESS IS COPY THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO SCAN AND SEND TO PC NOPE WONT EVEN DOWNLOAD TO A THUMB DRIVE NOPE SO YOU MUST HAVE A MEMORY CARD OR A USB CABLE TO SEND TO PC USB CABLE REQUIRED (NOT WIRELESS) THE LEAST THAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WAS SUPPLY A USB CABLE WITH THE WIRELESS COPY ONLY MACHINE WOULD HAVE SAVED ME A LOT OF TROUBLE sad sad sad

I bought this printer not just for printing text documents, but for picture printing as well. My last picture printer had ink issues, where the pictures came out wet and color output was completely off. Same thing happened only 6 months after buying this Epson.

So far, so good! The main reason we bought this particular printer is for printing CD covers. I've printed one thus far and I love the results! We've used Epson printers for years and wouldn't use any other brand! Thanks Epson for such a great product!

Beautiful prints, easy to set up and very user friendly. Paper trays a bit flimsy but overall a very nice printer.

My Artisan 730 arrived DOA (Dead on Arrival). The good news is that Epson is sending me a replacement unit, and my customer service experience was outstanding. There's no information included about how to print on a CD, which is surprising and annoying.

Great Printer

I replaced an Epson Artisan 700 which is pretty much the same printer. It has been a good printer for three years. Needed print pad service so easier to just buy a new printer. I hope this new 730 has a better solution for ink pads.
