Best printer for photos

I have been very happy with all my Epson Printers. This is the 4th one and each new one gets better. The photos are the best, best detail and color and the CD printer is a hit with all who have received them. I will continue to use Epson Printers and always wait to see what the new ones will do. I highly recommend them.

I have had this printer for 2 years, but just moved it to a new laptop. I originally bought it to see how it would print a printable disk. It worked so well that our church bought one. We provide the local radio station a copy of this week's message and the printable discs tell us what the date and the message title was.
I own 4 Epsons and am sold on the product. Besides the 730, I also have an Artisan 1430, workforces 520 and 4530 which I use for my home business.
The 730 will be used for personal use. My wife has an Epson upstairs in her study. I like the way the ink lasts and the printouts are fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product may represent the highest value per Dollar of any Electronic purchase I have ever made... The quality is Amazing and its connectivity cannot be beat by any other printer/scanner available...

Horrible Printer

have owned printer for 3.5 years.
worked for 6-8 months.,
then problems with connection, print quality horrible (streaks, lines, bad color.
takes 5 minutes to print one page. etc etc
fed up with time I'm wasting. will not buy epson product again.

Poor Design

This printer will not work if any of the ink tanks are empty. I need to print black and white pages and as far as I can tell I can't force it to print black and white with an empty cyan ink cartridge. This is unacceptable. The color cartridges are consumed despite printing only black and white, and I am constantly replacing them.
This was my first and last Epson printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HELP!! I received this for Christmas and it looks great, but I'm feeling very, very foolish after reading the reviews here. Take it out of the box, plug it in and follow the instructions? Yep. Does it work? Nope.
I have a Macbook Pro OS X 10.6.8. The WiFi light on the printer shows it is connected, printout says it has an excellent connection. Directions say to add my printer to my computer and that is where it stops. In fact, the printer isn't even showing. It is as if the printer and computer are not sync'd. I am NOT a computer genius, but I've never encountered such resistance! If any of you brainiacs could help, I sure would appreciate it. email me, PLEASE!

Great at wasting ink

CONSUMER REPORT - I'd really love to recommend my Epson Artisan 730 if it didn't keep generating errors due to "non-genuine" ink-cartridges before spitting out a photo anywhere from 1-99% done; wasting both my ink and paper. Epson = more concerned about ink sales than quality products. You've built a great "car," but it only runs on "Epson Gas"? There's no reason to force my printer to abandon a print job because the ink isn't your brand.

Great product

I just started some side projects from home making invitations, business cards, and cds/dvds. The previous printer I had was an Epson and I loved it. So when I had to look for another printer to handle all my card stock I wanted it to also be from Epson. I bought my new Epson printer 4 days ago. I love it. The quality is great.
