I bought this printer as a replacement for another brand. I especially wanted a printer for DVD/CDs. This little printer really delivers. The print quality is wonderful. It prints quite fast on the media with no ink smearing. I like the fact that you can just replace the color ink that is out. It looks like the cost for ink will be much lower than the other printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Stuff,but when working...

In general,it's a good product,the scanner is has a very high definition,all documents scanned were very clear. But, there is one point I don't like:when it working,it's too noisy,the sound from this printer is too loud~

I received this product just over a week ago and have fully tested out all of its features.. The regular print is very clear. The quality of photo printing is that of a photo lab. Scanning is easy and has alot of features for getting just what you want. The built in tray for printing to CD labels is nice and easy to use. Installation to my network was simple and all 4 of my computers have had no problems using the printer. Overall, I have found this product to live up to all of its promisses and have no shortfalls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to Set Up

Printer was very easy to set up. I'm still becoming acquainted with all its features but so far I'm liking it. I like that it came with full size cartridges unlike some other brands that come with starter ink cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Scanning for Mac 10.6 and 10.7

Update...
Snow Leopard and Lion users, you have to use a USB cord to scan to your Mac..Big inconvenience as the USB cord doesn't come in the box. Windows PC users, appears you don't have nothing to worry about. Other than that, I am very pleased with the purchase. Just have to go out and buy a USB cable as I do a lot of scanning. Therefore I am changing my previous review from 5 stars to 4 stars.

The Artisan 730 has proven to be a truly exemplary model for each of its functions. The color is above excellent with good speed of production. I recommend this model for home and small businesses.

I like the printer and the quality of print. However, why would you produce a airprint compatable printer that the scanner is not compatible with leopard or lion operating system???????????Will that be addressed and corrected in the future?

Just printed my sons graduation announcements, 45 of them, front and back, 2 pictures on 1 side, 1 picture on the other, and text on both sides. Worked like a charm! Didn't use the double sided printing feature, haven't figured that out yet, I was on a deadline to get them out! Figuring that will be my next aventure! Extremely easy to set up too!
