Paper feeder

So far, the first print I took after installing was the test page. The feeder took 2 pages simultaneously. In their defense, I didn't put a paper according to the specs of Epson, but I believe it should be Epson who accommodates to customers, and not the other way around. I love the image quality and cartridge capacity compared to competitors. I did my homework, and I think Epson is among the best choices. I hope that after I pick other non epson pages that comply with requirements, that it allows me to print fine, otherwise I'll be disappointed. maybe it was static electricity that got the paper stuck together. I've to test more, but it's a good printer. Listen to the reviews so you know what you're buying into. I'm seeing exactly the complaints I read. I hope a change of paper makes all the difference for Epson's sake.

I have only owned this printer for a couple of months but the photos are the best that I have seen and the unit has operated flawlessly since i purchased it.

Epson Artisan 730 - All in One printer

This is the best printer I've ever had out of 7-8. I bought it two days ago, followed the instructions on the insert and within 20 minutes it was printing from an iMac, a Windows' laptop, a Windows netbook, my iPad and iPhone completely wirelessly. Once I entered my network name and password into the printer it worked seamlessly. I printed a photo from my iPhone just to test; no problem at all and the quality of the photo is amazing. I highly recommend this printer.

Met my expectations!

I had an 8 yr old Epson Stylus, which I absolutely loved. I knew I would go with another epson product and so glad I did. This little printer does it all and does it well. My only problem was with photo paper and the feed. Every time I used letter size photo paper, it would pull a piece of regular paper with it and photo would then print on the regular paper and both would go thru printer together. Putting only photo paper in the tray when I print photo solved that issue. It's an extra step and an annoyance, but I can live with it.

My One Disatfaction

I have always like the Epson printers for their ease of operation and quality of print. The Artisan 730 has all of the features that I want EXCEPT for one; it does NOT have a bypass tray for printing #10 envelopes nor can I print business checks on it. The checks are standard 3-up; this will print as will only 2-up; HOWEVER, the last check by itself will NOT print and I find this very unsatisfactory. Otherwise, I love the Artisan 730. Hopefully Epson will take this issue under consideration.

Great Printer

Already owned an Epson printer, but wanted to upgrade for the wireless features and capabilities. After reviewing Epson printers on-line, decided for the price and it's features, the Epson Artisan 730 was for us. Easy to set-up, ink loads alot easier than my current printer, iConnect was simple for my smartphone and tablet. A little more difficult setting up eMail, haven't been able to send pictures to print yet. Will need to go over instructions again. Other than this minor glitch, the printer was easy to get going and functions as advertised. Very pleased with my new printer, it's fast, very good print quality, as expected from Epson, and ink cartriges should last a lot longer than the old one did, so also cost effective for my prints.

It is easy to set up, works fast, prints with professional quality, and it is pretty quiet. Some people say it is not good... I really don't understand what they are talking about, but I am glad I don't.

Artisan Photo Printer

The print quality is outstanding. The ink use is significantly more than the store indicated. The paper tray is a flimsy joke and the 4 x 6 prints are slightly off center (this is only noticable whem printing with a border).
