I have a small office that gets very busy during tax time. I was very please with the installation process as the printer virtually ask all the questions to get up and running. I have used all the features so far and for my small office it is working very well.

This Machine Does It All...

Recently my HP6180 died after many years of good service. So, I decided to get this printer for my home office. This printer has everything, it even came with a duplexing attachment. Which was an extra cost option of the 6180 way back when. But, the neatest thing is that the printer has it's own email address so I or anybody else from around the world can email it a spreadsheet and it will be sitting on the printer when I get home. I thought Eprint was handy, but this takes a few steps out of the process and you don't have to be on the same network. It prints fast and I love the 200 sheet tray with an option to double it with a 2nd tray(which I don't need).

I've yet to try any (except print) of the features of this machine, as I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but have not tried any of the other features (scanning, faxing, duplexing, the apps etc.). Therefore, I'm excited about the possibilities, at this point. I hope to get some time to use it within the next couple of weeks.

This is an awesome printer! Very satisfied with it. Printouts are of incredible quality, including photos. Can print wirelessly, even from cell phone. One thing to consider though is its large size. Need to ensure you have room for it's size.

Best Printer yet

I have had 5 HP printers in 12 years. This one is the best so far. I have no idea how long the ink will last but the model this replaced ( looked almost identical ) was plagued with problems and sucked the ink dry way to often. I pray for better experience with this one. GOOD SO FAR> ( I do very little printing ) Which may be part of the problem.

So far so good. Surprised me how fast it printed. Others complained about how much ink it consumed. I haven,t found that problem to be more so than other printers. Ink is expensive. Still learning to use this printer. Haven't figured out how to set up the fax yet. Overall, I am happy with this printer. Very easy to set up (except fax).

All-in-One and More......

Replaced my old Office Jet 6310ix All-in-One with this new Office Jet PRO 8600. We are still working though all the features, but so far we love it and the number of pages it prints is like three times of my old printer. The eprint is a great addition but we are still working out the bugs and have had three difference email address assigned. This is because of a problem with my Home Net, and the printer not being seen and when we re-connect HP Connect assigns a new address. You need to think of it as being connected on two networks, one is the Home Net and the second is a internet (HP Direct Print) with the printers build in server. Just a bump in the road of setting things up.
