Tried alot of different Tablets over the last 6 wks and I believe the galaxy 8.9" is closest i've gotten but returned it, sadly. I'm on a mission to replace notebook-to use a technology in the boardroom that doesn't put up a perceived barrier (the flipped up notebook monitor) and as a personal device. However, I can't put all my music on it w/out, well I can't put all my music on it period. 16 GB just isn't enough onboard w/o an expansion slot(built in)! I just can't believe this-a great play and a fumble at the 5 yard line. I refuse to have to carry and attach a dongle cord to add maximum 32GB. That's where they missed the mark ... either 32GB on board and no slot or 16GB and a 32GB+ slot on board. I have presentations and videos I use for our business and there's just no room. Also nice to have had at least a mini USB and perhaps a HDMI port on board. Every thing is a dongle. On the whole (compared to the others)- I like the size, screen dimensions, and weight, resolution, performance - it's small enough to be very convenient yet - not feeling like my 1-2 person audience is looking at me like I'm pushing them to let me us my new "toy" to show them my presentation. If I could plug it easily ... again w/out and additional dongle into the corporate projector or big screen - even better. I've returned it and will wait for (hopefully a Galaxy) another with the extras I i desparately need and make this a 5 star!
Does everything I want in a tablet and more. Very lightweight and it seems to be durable but I have only had it a week. We will see what happen in 2 months
This is a very solid tablet. Good feature, great built quality. The size is just perfect, not too small, not too big. The only complain is the Touch Wiz user interface. The interface is too heavy and it makes the tablet laggy and sometimes it makes the tablet slow affecting the multi tasking capabilities.
Pros: Sharp, vivid screen; super-fast processor; perfectly sized, connects easily via Kies for transferring all my music seamlessly; can download apps for creating and editing word-processing, spreadsheet and .pdf files Cons: The only one I've noticed is that there seems to be no way to set up the unit for multiple users with distinct logins or to password protect individual email accounts (although you can password protect the unit itself).
i have been selling this item for some time i recommend it to many of my customers and my company gave it to me as a reward, wish it had expandable memory thou but really happy with it
The tab is fast at processing information in compairsion to my old phone and computer. I also like its easy of use in most regards of apps and surffing the net.
Cons: small storage, no built in expansion of storage
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does not have a built in mass storage mode to explore through the system files like their gingerbread and ice cream sandwich devices. kies air allows you to transfer some files on and off the device, but if you require separate 3rd party app files, its going to take a lot of know how. It does not have expandable memory. other than that. it is a very solid device
