I'm enjoying my Galaxy Tab 8.9 (w/3G/4GLTE). I can use it anywhere! The 8.9 size is perfect! With this size I can easily put it in my purse or briefcase without adding bulk or weight! I'm using this instead of my big old planner! The design is simple yet elegant!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker placement, lacks expandable memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think I carry this around every where. I watch videos read books from google books. I play games and I work from it.

I bought the Galaxy Tab for it's flexibility and so far it has not disappointed me. It is small and lightweight and will be perfect for keeping up with all my communication needs while traveling, as well as just carrying it from room to room in my house!

Purchased this for my two boys to use and play with, and it's not only great for them playing games, but for watching movies as well. It keeps them happy for hours at at time, whether for educational purposes or just for fun.

After witnessing the bad experiences of a couple of friends and doing a little Internet research, I got the 8.9 from AT&T and I am really happy with it.
The main thing is the speed! Way better than the cheaper brands!
One minor "con" I have noted so far is that the auto-dim is kind of "all or none", meaning it will really dim or really brighten and there doesn't seem to be various levels of auto-dim based on available light.
The only other con might be the lack of a pre-loaded word processor or spreadsheet program of any flavor but, if you think about it, I'm sure Google wants you to use Google Docs, so I'm not surprised by this.
Other than that, I have no real issues with this unit and that's a difficult thing to say in the day and age. I highly recommended it to everyone. It is certainly worth the extra money!
