I certainly understand the noises you are hearing may be unfamiliar to you. I welcome you to view the normal operating sounds and sights of your refrigerator in your Use and Care Guide. Usually, you can wipe this clean or use a Cleaning Polish or Conditioner to remove this layer of oxidation. Using a Cleaning Polish and Conditioner will also protect the surface of your appliance from hard water buildups of iron and other surface contaminants. If you have surface oxidation on your appliance, start by cleaning with hot, soapy water. If this doesn’t get it all, then use a cleaner such as a Cleaning Polish and Conditioner. To get the best results from your cleaner, we recommend using a soft terry cloth or a micro-fiber sponge. It will gently apply the cleaner without scratching or harming the finish. If more aggressive cleaning is needed, try a small amount of ammonia on a product such as a Scotch-Brite no scratch pad to clean tough areas. Hope this helps!
