Design is very different in reality!

I am pretty unhappy with the look of this refrigerator. The handle in particular looks nothing like the photos on this website or any others. I find it pretty common though that these manufacturers put renderings on the website rather than actual photos. The handle looks awful, it's like a molded plastic. Whereas the handle in the photo looks like a flat bending plate. When will Frigidaire and other manufacturers realize that design is important, even to people looking for small refrigerators? You can design a nice-looking handle cheaply out of plastic. Also, the edges of the doors look rounded in the photos, and they are completely square in reality. And when will they stop making the sides black!? Make them grey to match the stainless! Most higher end models have grey on the side, but really does it cost that much more to make it grey? Also this comment section is not letting me add a photo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice buildup

Hi Mary90436, what you have described in your review could indicate that your refrigerator may need to be leveled in order to ensure the door is securely closing, not allowing warm air into the freezer compartment and forming frost. I bought this in August and it's working well. The handle broke off, but that may be due to the delivery person who switched the handle to the other side of the unit. It could also be the quality of the plastic on the handle since it snapped off. This was with gentle use, so surprising. I've had it replaced via warranty.
Otherwise, the unit looks nice and is functioning well.

Nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I needed a refrigerator that fit under cabinets since I live in an apartment and most refrigerators I saw were too tall. It's been working great, however, the 2nd day I had it it was dripping water in the refrigerator and had to call for repair. The repairman fixed it quickly and told me this is a problem that Frigidaire is aware of but has not addressed, but shouldn't happen again. So far so good. Freezer keeps food frozen solid, food is nice and cold and when the refrigerator runs it is completely quiet. You only hear it if you open the freezer. Was very impressed.
