I bought my fridge in October and everything else about it is great but our freezer does not hold ice cream but holds meat!?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your refrigerator experience, Erinnp. Ice cream does best when not housed on the freezer door as this is the warmest area of most refrigerators/freezers. I recommend moving your ice cream to the lowest part of the freezer and as far back as you can. I hope this information is helpful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a smaller refrigerator because I live in a trailer and this refrigerator is quite a bit smaller and holds just as much as my old refrigerator I can find things easier in it and I just really like it.

Gosh! Vince A, I regret you were looking forward to having ice trays with your new refrigerator purchase. We do offer ice cube trays on Frigidaire.com. For your convenience I am including the link here: http://www.frigidaire.com/Filters--Accessories/Refrigerator-Accessories/. Some ice cream with a high cream (fat) content may not freeze rock hard, or may take longer to freeze solid. If only the ice cream is soft, and the contents of the freezer are not defrosting, try moving the ice cream to the rear of the freezer compartment where it may be colder. Please also adjust the freezer temperature to the coldest setting.
