I had terrible internet in my room before because it was so far from the router, now it’s amazing I use my pc for gaming and I have had perfect connection since this purchase! 100% recommend

Performs it’s function

Performance of this unit is good for short distances and in 2.4 MHz band. Initial setup is not nearly as easy as described and the instructions suffer from lack of clarity and potentially wrong information. Once the device is setup it provides ability to extend the range of my router from upstairs to portions of downstairs where the router does not penetrate due to walls, pipes, hvac ducting and other impediments. There is no free lunch and the throughput of this device is noticeably less than that of the router. It works well for internet connected static devices such as thermostats, electrical switches, outlets and such but is noticeably less responsive for active connections such as laptops and tablets.

Great way to extend Wi-Fi!

My wife and I recently moved into a 3-story condo with a basement. We’ve basically been quarantined for the last 8 months so I decided to buy an electric drum kit and take online drum lessons while we’re at home most of the time. The problem was that the Wi-Fi in our basement had been very hit-or-miss (mostly miss). My drum teacher recommended getting the Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender and we haven’t had any problem with dropped calls or freezing video. It’s been a real game-changer! Thanks, Netgear!

We were having trouble with our WiFi every evening. The tv would keep buffering and then drop. The extender totally fixed the problem and was easy to set up.
