did not work well

Signal kept on fading and program kept cutting off on tv. Had to purchase more expensive model PLW1000

Works great for some devices

I placed my main router in my basement and first I placed this extended on my main floor directly above the basement. It connects to the router great and my smart phone and tablets connect to the extender well. The problem I have had is connecting a smart TV to the network on the extended. Next I placed it on my second floor (2 floors above my basement). It still connected to the router and it connected to my mobile devices, but even 10 feet away from the smart TV it would not connect. I assume this is an issue with the TVs (I tried two) and how strong their WiFi signal is. I ended up having to connect to the TV with an Ethernet upstairs and left the main router in the basement.

Good Investment

Checked other reviews and settled on Netgear AC750 Extender. Up and running within 15 minutes following the easy to read step by step directions. This has extended wireless connectivity to rooms in the house that were impossible to connect in previously. Definitely worth the price and stands up to the Netgear reputation.

Home Office Use

Just had to convert into a home office station on a weird second floor landing while my modem and router were downstairs. This allowed me to actually work from my desk instead of having to lodge myself in a cramped location.

Bought it being excited it would be amazing and it worked but it wasnt amazing at times id perfer to go all the way to my router it was only giving 17mbs normally and at times the connection would just randomly stop working but it was okay A for effort
