Recently I have purchased the Netgear AC750 WiFi ranger extender to boost the WiFi signal within my home. The product was easy to install and the performance is well enhanced. I like the product.

We struggled with WiFi coverage in the furthest area of our house, and now we don’t have that problem any longer. The device was easy to setup and has worked liked a charm!

Did not meet expectations

I am able to connect some devices to the new WiFi network, but still have issues connecting IPhones to the new WiFi. Called customer service and was advised to return product and get a new devise which I did. When I tried the new devise, I still had the same issues. Still not able to connect Apple devises to the newly created network.

I have had several netgear products and they are by far the best. The best thing about this extender is not only the range it covers or the fact that it covers both spectrums of signal but you can also set it to a fast track mode where you combine both channels to get even better stronger signals. Netgear will stay at the top of my list with products like this!

WiFi Extender really helps

I tried installing teh AC750 as a WAP since I had an ethernet cable going to the part of our home that lacked good wifi signal from our main router. But that setup involved needing to have a separate wifi channel/password. So I then tried it just as an extender in this same place in the house. The measured wifi signal was an equal and huge improvement from when we did not have the extender. Now we get great signal in the previously unreached areas of our home. One challenge is that we got two of these, and we had some problem getting the 2nd one to work (for a different unreached area in our house). After some trials and errors (and two relatively useless calls to the help center), we got it working. So we are really happy with these units!
