I have had the NetGear AC750 for a few months and have tried it in three different rooms to extend the Wi-Fi better in the house (one story 2000 sq ft) . It works well to provide more consistent Wi-Fi throughout the house (as long as it is within range of the router). When placed in a window, it even extends the Wi-Fi about 100 feet outside (in line of site). I noticed after a power loss, some devices needed to be linked to it again, so now I have it and the other devices on a battery backup. The ethernet port can be used to bring your network signal to the device (from the router), or it can be used to take the signal out to another device. Instructions on how to set it up are explicit.

I was having a real issue keeping my door bell connected. The Netgear AC750 Wifi Range Extender really helped solve this issue. Great addition to my ever expanding addition of smart devices. Netgear is keeping them connected.

the amplifier made my life easier

The amplifier improved the internet at home, which was weak only from the router, since I used nedgar, problems ended with a great device I recommend
