Great Features

We bought this GE appliance to replace the old GE washer/dryer we had which was great as we used it for14 years! It has great features but the dryer does not dry the clothes (cottons) well as they are still a little damp (the old one we replaced did dry the clothes well!) Other than that - the unit is great and it fit well in our small kitchen. Noise level - acceptable. This unit helped our daily activities a little bit easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washer/dryer combo

To make a long story short, after having a service tech come out 3 to 4 times in the past 8 months, I found out you CANNOT use floodproof hoses. I had upgraded the hoses and had those put on during installation of the washer/dryer. Having changed the hoses, the machine is working wonderfully.

Perfect size

I am extremely happy with the laundry center. The size of both the washer and dryer are great. Just as big as full size appliances. The only drawback is that the dryer does not have a buzzer to signal that the cycle is ending.

Propane conversion

I live in the country and had to convert to propane use. It was a nightmare of a job. Basically I almost had to disassemble the dryer to perform the conversion. Then of course reassemble. I am pretty handy and it took my wife and I over 4 hours.
My advice, hire it done whatever the cost. My wife loves the convience of the unit and it does a good job of washing and drying.
