It does okay, but I do not recommend overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is convenient to have the machines stack and the features are good. It broke down almost immediately, but this is not a big issue as the repair was covered under warranty. However, both the washer and the dryer tend to twist clothing into knots every load (even on lower settings) and buttons seem to get pulled off of shirts about every other load. Machines I’ve used in the past only did this once in a while. Overall, I would not recommend this washer/dryer combo.

Have had this unit for about 3 yrs now and the spin cycle on the washer is very loud,you can here it all over the house. Will be glad when it dies so we can get a different type of waher/dryer. Would not own another GE product.

We have had this unit for 3 months. Clothing gets caught in the machine during the dry cycle and marked up with black smudges. We had the unit replaced with another unit of this same model. The new model functions exactly the same during the dry cycle.

Not a good unit

I bought this product in 2012. The washer portion of the unit has had to be repaired twice. It is now broken again for the third time. I have followed the directions to the T and the unit still breaks once a year. The last tech that was out to fix the unit said that this particular model has a lot of problems. This machine is a piece of J.U.N.K!!!
