Horrible Unit

We bought this a few years ago, and it has broken three different times, and now is so loud we cannot be in our house when the washer is going. It sounds like a rocket ship about to takeoff. My parents have always told me that GE is one of the best brands out there and to always buy it when I can, so I am extremely disappointed that this is what happens when I spend extra money on a unit that I thought was worth the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tub seal broken after 6 years

The washer made a lot of noise when spinning. Left black marks on clothes from dryer. It starting leaking under washer which is the tub seal after 6 years. Will get a new stackable washer from GE because I am a loyal customer.

Good while it lasted.

I have had this unit for just over a year and it worked great! Unfortunatly it died just over warranty. I would not buy again becuase of longivity of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my GE unitized spacemaker washer and dryer as it does an excellent job and makes doing laundry very easy. I chose this unit because my laundry facilities are in my small kitchen and this saved valuable space and allowed me more cupboard and counter space. Both washer and dryer have the capacity for very large loads. This was a replacement of two single units that I have had in use now for 4 months.

This product is a great space saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is a great way to save space. Often people forget to utilize vertical space. This GE unitized unit effectively uses vertical space. Another feature is the convenience of the dryer being overhead saves from bending over to reach clothes. This is a great buy!

Great Spin Cycle
