I would recommend this product for daily pumping of milk supply. The parts are reasonably priced and customer service is very helpful in questions. You need to make sure everything is secure before pumping, or you could have milk expressed in between the flange and shield, this causes a huge mess! Overall, I do recommend this to breastfeeding mothers.

I really like this machine. It really helped me a lot when I had my baby. I recommend this pump to everyone who like to breastfeed.great customer service. I had a problem once with my machine when I call them they replace my pump withoutv any problem .

Terrible, faulty product

I have had nothing but problems with this pump. I received a re0placement after my original pump all but died after 4 months of use. The replacment didn't even last a month. These pumps start becoming very noisy and then completely lose suction. I would not recommend this pump to anyone.
Pros: small size, nice design
Cons: very short life span, noisy, unreliable, faulty design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Efficient and easy to use

The Avent breast pump is a great device for pumping breast milk. It is more efficient than cheaper electric pumps and helped me to increase milk production. It pumps quickly- about 10 minutes per side for @ 5 ounces.
I dropped my pump at work and broke the handle with the electronic pump. I called and had a replacement with in 12 hours! They were great and even though it was my fault, they replaced it for free. Great customer service!
My one and only complaint is that there are many parts to take off and assemble. The bottle does not seal well (even has a ring adapter) and leaks when titled even slightly.
Pros: strong suction, easy to set up, quiet
Cons: leaks at top of bottle

Love This Pump!!!!

This pump is wonderful! I use it 1-3 times daily and also nurse my little one. I love the speed and strength customization, much better than competitive models. And more than anything else, I appreciate the Phillips customer service! I highly recommend Philips products.

Buy this pump!!

I've used this pump, ameda purely yours and a medela hospital pump and avents pump beats them all. I can get 8 ounces of milk in half the time it took me to get one ounce with a different pump. I do find it more comfortable and more productive if I don't use the petals on the flange, which is a removable piece. I would never recommend a different pump. Avent gives you complete control over speed and suction.
Pros: comfortable, productive, fast, easy
Cons: many parts
