Pump is more comfortable than the expensive hospital grade pumps!

This pump is excellent. I have used it for a year. I had to exchange the power cord and the company had it shipped to me overnight with wonderful customer service- during that time I used a hospital grade pump that was supposed to be so much better and mine worked better, got more milk, and was more comfortable! I love this pump and would recommend it to anyone over the more expensive hospital grade pumps.

This pump is so easy to use and fast! It use to take me about 30mins just to get 5oz of BM. But with this pump I easily get 8-18oz in 10-15mins depending on the time of day I pump. It looks like it has a lot of pieces to it but its really simple to put together. I know I could easily do it blind folded now. I love that I use the handle to adjust the suction and speed. Not having to deal with a bunch if knobs and switches is awesome! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PUMP!
Pros: easy to assemble, fast milk output, pretty quiet, easy to set speed & suction, comes with a cute carrying case, light weight, closed system, hospital grade pump, can single or double pump
Love my Avent Breastpump. I use it three times a day to pump while I'm at work for my daughter. I also find the manual pump to work great in a pinch which works with the same connector you use on the electric pump.
The pump works great, is easy to clean and very comfortable. I also love the carrying case and cooler. It's made going back to work much easier.
Highly recommend!
Pros: affordable, comfortable, reliable, comes with bottles, comes with carrying case, comes with cooler, easy to use, lightweight
Cons: you have to hold the pumps while pumping, lots of cleaning
I would recommend this to a friend!

A pain

It nevers seems clean even after sanatizing it. The parts seem to attract hair and any fuzz around. If you accidentally bump the pump settings you have to set it up all over again. Overall it's a pain but a necessary evil in order to continue to nurse my son.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoyed the ease of use of the pump. Within the first month of using the pump, I had to take a 5 hour road trip and was able to easily pack and unpack the pump while on the road.
Pros: easily portable, quiet
Cons: a lot of small parts
I would recommend this to a friend!

An excellent essential for working mothers

This pump has been an excellent product for mine and my daughter's needs. It performs well, is easy to maintain and simple to use. It's features, including the memory function, make it comfortable and user friendly. I have not tried any other pumps, but cannot imagine what more a pump could offer. Pumping between 5 - 9 oz in less than 15 minutes was perfect for me and I used the pump twice a day at work. Whilst there are lots of pieces to clean, they are easy to take apart and fully sterilise, as well as easy to replace, if they are damaged or lost (I did not need to replace any in 5 months of use). Getting the pump sterilised and ready for the next day, including cleaning and sterilising four Avent bottle in an Avent Microwave Steriliser, took about 40 minutes. This is a labor intensive affair, definitely a labor of love, but well worth it to meet your baby's needs, and probably the time it would take with any twin pump. Overall, I would recommend this above any other pump and I would just add that pumping should be done in a quiet, relaxed environment in order for your milk to come down and flow easily.
Pros: easy to use, easy to take apart and clean, excellent variable suction, fits other avent products well
Cons: fairly lengthy process to clean and sterilise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pump is easy to use and comfortable, I would recommend it, but it can be leaky.

It is easy and comfy to use. I have read other reviews that there are a lot of parts, but I don't find this to be a problem. The closed system means milk only goes into the pump parts; I would much rather clean extra parts than worry about milk in the tubing etc. The memory function is nice for easier pumping. I like that the pump parts and bottles can be closed off for easy quick storage in between pumping sessions at work.
It can be leaky. The tops sometimes unscrew easily (not all the way off, but loosened) causing milk to leak around the adapters. The silicone breast flange pieces can also become loose and allow milk to leak. The bottles are top heavy and can tip easily while set up for pumping, even when using the caps as a support. When they fall, the tops often unscrew enough to let milk leak out.
Sometimes, the pumping mechanism is hard to get attached to the silicon diaphragm.
Pros: it is easy to use, it is comfortable, closed system--no milk in the tubing, easy quick storage for pumping 2x a day at work
Cons: milk sometimes leaks around the adapters, milk can leak from behind the silicone flanges, pumping mechanism part can be hard to attach, bottles tip easily when set up for pumping
