I love this pump. I started pumping with a pump that I didn't realize was not rated for as much pumping as I would need to be doing. A girlfriend whom had just had a baby a couple months prior and was pumping as well recommended this pump; and I'm glad she did. The first time I used it I was able to get 3 times more milk expressed than I was able to with 2 days of pumping with the first pump. The double pump feature works so well, but If I only need to pump one side or the other, I can do that too.
Pros: being able to set the pumping speed, quiet

Thought it was great until it stopped working

I got this pump as a gift. I wanted it because I love the Avent bottles and my daughter takes them well. I have only been pumping for three weeks 2x a day. This morning when I went to turn it on, the suction was completely gone. Since I go back to work in two days I now have to buy a different brand of pump.
Cons: stopped working after three weeks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought mine after my baby shower and I started using it two months ago and not really because in a month if I used it 8 times it was lot and it broke. I should've have read the reviews before I got it.

I was loving it just until after 4 uses it just stopped working during the night. Had another one one shipped overnight but by the time it came my milk was gone!!! I was only pump my baby would not latch so i was pumping and putting in bottles to feed

Customer Service has been outstanding. However, I shouldn't have needed to call them 2 times in 3 months. Had entire pump assembly replaced after it stopped working. With first little one I've had a Medela, some other handheld, and this one. It's the best - but for the price, the amount of issues with the motor were too high.
Significant use design flaws: feedback on these are everywhere on the Internet. Bottles attached to suction pieces are top heavy and tip easily. Bottles unscrew incredibly easily. The phrase about not crying over spilled milk never pumped.

Terrible pump!

I had this pump 20 days and the pump stopped working. I was in the middle of pumping & it quit. My husband is a handy guy so he opened it up & saw the problem. A gear had fallen off! My baby won't actually nurse so I have no choice but to pump. He was able to put the gear back on so I could pump. I ended up returning my pump. I have had a Medela previously with my other children, but thought I would try these since we had the bottles. Terrible decision. I went and bought a Medela.
Pros: comfort
Cons: stopped working after 20 days!, not convenient carrying case, lots of parts to wash each time

I had the pump a month worked perfectly until I moved...the motor dropped one time an it stopped workin. I have been pumpless for about a month in a half. And since my baby only took expressed milk I had to start supplementing with formula. Phillips is awesome tho they sent me a manual pump, even tho I don't know how to use it.
Pros: ease of use, comfortable
Cons: durabillity
