Functions but not durable

the top on this oven will scratch with bread crumbs. it's a beautiful range, but this one flaw makes it a horrible investment. we clean the top almost after every use - look at the picture. samsung engineers are not very smart if they can't create a more durable top.

Product quality not worth the price

we've had this product for almost 18 months now and this is an overdue rating. ever since the beginning, the surface is hard to keep clean. also, the burners grills scratched all over the range. power on the burners varies from one to other, some go from very high flame to almost nothing; there is not mid range.
overall, i am a samsung user on appliance and electronics. but this time, i wished we didn't purchase this range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks nice but breaks often

this oven looked good but stopped heating properly after 1 year, we replaced the igniter and then again one year later it started the same issue of not heating to the proper temperature.
also, the coating on the bottom of the inside of the oven comes off. samsung replaced that within the first year and again the same issue happened a few months later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the high price tag

bought this cooker in march 2020. although expensive, it has many very useful features; we couldn't resist it. the appliance is beautiful to look at, easy to clean and we used all the features extensively. we cook and bake a lot!
it worked perfectly for one year and nine months, then, just nine months outside the warranty, the oven started taking longer and longer to heat up. it now takes longer to preheat the oven (up to forty minutes) than it takes for my bread to proof.
had i known the shelf life was less than two years, i would have chosen a much cheaper cooker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the best quality

I have many samsung items in my household but unfortunately I’m not satisfied with this our purchase. I purchased my stove February 2022 and all of the knobs are non functional. I use a pair of pliers to turn everything into on. I understand that things have normal wear and tear but this is ridiculous. It makes my kitchen look ugly

Before cleaning the control knobs, we recommend not removing the spill protector when removing the knobs, and after cleaning, when you're ready to put the knobs back on, make sure they are completely dry, and then reattach them to the control valve stem in the same OFF position.

Huge safety risk with malfunctioning off button

Installed in 2019 and already broken. I pressed bake and the oven started to self clean. I tried to stop it by pressing the off button but it kept going anyway, which is a huge safety risk (e.g., what if I had accidentally left items inside the oven?). Since off button didn’t work, I pressed delay start to hold off on the self cleaning. After contacting Samsung technical support via SMS, they advised me to kill the power through circuit breaker. After the oven resets, I tried turning on the broil function and again, the off button didn’t work! So I had to kill the power in circuit breaker once more. Finally, after turning off and on the oven, the numbers 1 and 3 do not work when trying to set up the clock. Now, I’d probably have to replace the control panel (which probably costs few hundred dollars) or just replace the whole oven. Having a malfunctioning “off button” when the product is less than 4 years old is unacceptable!

The display on your oven is intended to light up only the functions you need at any particular moment. If there seems to be an error on display, such as incomplete digits, cycling the power may reset the panel and get it working again.

broke 3 times in <5 years. frustrated w/ response

I purchased this product with standard 1 year warranty and after 15 months the digital controls went out and had to be replaced.  ~1.5 years later we started noticing the oven took a long time to heat up and it finally stopped turning on and we had to have it fixed (another $400).  about 5-6 months later we noticed the same issue but repairs are only covered for 90 days - really?  This was a Samsung service repair too. I called to see if they could help with cost since this was 3rd time in less than 5 years but they said there was nothing they could do because range was past the 1 year warranty.  I was very disappointed Samsung would not stand behind their faulty product and I'm left having to buy a new range after less than 5 years.  It will not be a Samsung.
