I Love This Range!

Nearly everything about this slide-in range exceeded my expectations. The design is spectacular - sleek, sexy, and simple enough to enhance nearly any kitchen decor. The performance exceeded my expectation - I had some trepidation after reading reviews about the mid-burner, but found no lack of performance. Ditto on the clean-up: A few reviews mentioned difficulty in cleaning. I've found it a breeze! All three grates easily pop off for a quick wipe-down. Simply using hot water and a soft cloth it wipes clean in seconds. Temperatures are spot-on and features are absolutely intuitive. I couldn't love this range more!
Pros: functions above expectations, neighbor-envy, pro-quality

The range is a beautiful accent to the kitchen - I love the design. We recently upgraded from a 15-yr old retro-looking gas stove to the Samsung, and are very happy with the purchase. We have had it for about a month now and we use the stove top mainly for boiling water (pasta, shrimp, etc.) and pan frying fish and chicken. It does a great job. It seems to burn hotter than our last stove - so there were some adjustments to be made - but that is a good thing.
We have used the oven to cook ribs, roast chicken, and bake a cake. And we have used the warming pan to heat up bread. I used the convection feature for the cake - not sure if it made a difference - but the cake turned out great. No complaints.
Before purchasing, I did read several reviews that commented on the loudness of the fan when the oven is cooling down. In my opinion, it's not that loud. I can hear it - but it often goes unnoticed among the other noise of the general household in the everyday activity of "fixing dinner."
I definitely feel that it was a good value for the money spent, and I would highly recommend the product.

Although I've only had it for a couple of weeks, i'm impressed with the features and the performance of the surface burners. The heat output is impressive, even for the simmer burner, and there is very fine control of the flame. I'm still getting the hang of the oven, but having conventional baking, convection bake/roast plus the warming drawer gives you amazing flexibility.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I've found the top scratches very easily.
Pros: flexible
Cons: cooktop scratches easily

Unfortunately, stainless steel can scratch when it comes in contact with something sharp or abrasive, so the best practice is to avoid using abrasive cleaners or allowing heavy items (including the burner caps and grates) to brush along the surface, if possible.

range developed a leak in the first year and was replaced by the place of purchase. the 2nd range developed a leak at the 3 yrs. the cost to repair is prohibitive. very unhappy, not a good investment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not only is this a sleek looking range it performs exactly as advertised..

My wife moved up to a Galaxy 7 so I got her old phone. I was using a Samsung flip phone and this one is a lot of fun. Like the camera, too

The looks of the range blew me away, had wait for the install due to contractors. But once it was installed we fell in love with or choice, and we looked at many. Had and electric range that was not that old, so switching to gas was a surprise. We like all the features and the accuracy of the temperatures. The only thing I wish we had noticed was it did not have a broiler pan, We did not open the carton fully to examine the missing pan. It was after the thirty day notification period, that we got to see there was no broiler pan. Other than that one issue we truly like the range very much.
Pros: appreance, ease of operation and cleaning

Inside of oven coating coming off and rusting

this range is beautiful however the quality is not. it is falling apary affer 3 years and samsung doesnt wartaty anything after a year even though this clearly is a defect. ibhave called and they said i have to purchase all tbe defective parts. the bottom of the oven coating is coming off and rusting. the grates and thr burner tops are also rusting. i have had several ovens that did not cost anywhere bear how expensive this was and the coating did not peel off the bottom and rust nor did any other pieces rust like this. i have hawd the self cleqning option to clean the inside and jtbhas made the peeling worse. very frustrating should have gone wirh another brand and will never purchase samsung anything again.
