too many issues

we have had this oven for 5 years. we have now had to replace the oven igniter twice, when it would heat . this has cost almost $500 in service calls. this seems to be a defect in the oven itself. we have also had to replace the tray at the bottom of the oven as the enamel had peeled off and we were afraid it would contaminate the cooking food. this costs $100. such an expensive oven should not have this many issues this already.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Trash!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

purchased this range 4 months ago before i started my kitchen rehab and it stayed protected in my garage .. fast forward to december 23 when i installed, and tried to use this worthless range the oven didn't work and i could tell something was wrong with the center burner. not only couldn't i cook christmas dinner, but they couldn't come for almost a month to look at it. the issue with the oven was easy as there is a valve underneath after you pull the drawer out that controls the gas (customer support doesn't know this btw) but the center burner cap was incorrect from factory and the reason it wouldn't work correctly. long story short after several hours and multiple escalations i was denied the 100 dollar part that would fix this because it was outside of the 30 days of purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY

this stove looks pretty, but does not deliver. the thermometer probe feature never worked, but we thought it was because we were not using right. come to find out it never worked. when we went to get it serviced, the tech diagnosed the problem wrong and then couldn't fix it. come to find out there was a motherboard issue and now there are multiple error codes. the appliance can not be plugged in because it provides error codes and states the oven is cooling, when it is not even turned on.
only buy if you are (1) interested in receiving service on your brand new appliance - this one is 8 month old - and (2) wanting to spend time on the phone with samsung learning that the appliance has to be repaired 3 times before being considered defective, even if it is brand new.

Beautiful Garbage

beautiful range. unfortunately stopped working at exactly the two year mark. called for service. advised $100 to inspect. scheduled appointment and prior to appointment they called to advise it would be $500 for parts though it had not even been inspected. another $125 for labor. cancelled appointment. bought a new non samsung range. i will never buy another samsung product!

the range smallest burner stopped working in 3 months... when we sim it to the minimum it turns off and does not turn on when we increase it to high and the gas keeps coming out which is dangerous... since its too small, the flame is not visible as well.. we might end up in danger if we failed to notice

stainless steel top scratches easily.

very disappointed grating that holds pots on top of stove rusted and little rubber feet fall out causing scratches on stainless steel stove top. black grating that hols pots ' rusted " is this a hazardous condition".
